Most days during the year, we are open from 10 AM to 4 PM

During the summer holiday (25th of June to 7th of August 2022) we extend the opening hours from 10 AM to 5 PM

You are more than welcome to bring your own food. Enjoy it on our terrasse or in our garden.

In Terrariet’s ticket sale you can buy water, fizzy drinks, juice and ice cream.

It is possible to move around Terrariet in a wheelchair. However there are a few tight spots than can cause trouble especially if there are many people in the exhibit. We have a handicap friendly toilet that can be accessed even without buying a ticket.

Guest with a helper or guests in wheelchairs can bring a helper in with them for free as long as you show a companion/helper card to the ticket sale.

There are 2 parking spaces dedicated to people with disabilities in the parking area closes to the entrance.

Terrariet has a changing table in the handicap bathroom that can be used freely even without buying a ticket.

Terrariet has a few tight spots that can prove a challenge to baby carriers and stroller. However people have succeeded on days less busy.

 

We keep forgotten items for at least a few months. You are more than welcome to contact us on +45 64471850 or info@terrariet.dk if you have forgotten something.

Dogs are NOT allowed in Terrariet.

However there are nice nature areas close by for a walk.

Please take care not to keep your dog in a locked car on warm days. If you do not have any other options you can try contacting Terrariet’s office on +45 64471850 or info@terrariet.dk to hear if they can babysit your dog briefly while you have a walk through the exhibit. This service however cannot be guaranteed.

Close to Terrariet you can find free public parking areas. Near the entrance you can find 2 disabled parking spots. Keep an eye on the signs if you are in doubt. If there are no free parking next to Terrariet try driving to Vissenbjerg’s Idræts- og Kulturcenter at the address “Idrætsvej 3”. It is only a 2-3 minutes walk from Terrariet’s main entrance.

It is not allowed to bring and use your own barbecue in Terrariet’s garden. Terrariet’s own barbecue is reserved for special events.

Are you a student then you can get 10% off on tickets as long as you show a valid student card.

Biology students can get free entrance ticket as long as they show documentation for their chosen education.

 

10 % group discounts on tickets in groups of 15 people or more.

Students, veterans and pensioners get a 10% discount on entrance tickets.
